Pure materials

This house consists of one main building and two annexes. The distinctive fa├žade features robust wooden posts. The rhythm of the posts is continued in the annexe. The house is subdued and monolithic, with beautiful details.

The interior called for unambiguous, powerful shapes and natural materials such as wood, concrete, marble and linen. We opted for a warm colour for the concrete floor as a foundation and made well-considered choices with regard to the furniture, creating a sophisticated design. The result is a Japanese look and feel, serene and zen, making this a perfect house to unwind in an analogue world.
