The Attema-Sate farm, a heritage-listed building dating from 1770, is located at the edge of the Yntema polder, opposite the Gaastmeer lake marina and connected to the village by a bridge. The farm was converted into a family residence and four beautifully understated holiday flats. The lookout room in the ridge of the barn roof is one of the farm’s most spectacular features, guaranteeing spectacular views of the Frisian lakes.
The flats exude a pure, serene atmosphere, pleasant and harmonious. Featuring beautiful, high-quality natural materials, they are equipped with all modern conveniences. Studio Slow designed the interior for the listed front house, the new kitchen and the flats.
