This farm was completely rebuilt in an ecological and respectful way. It took a long time, but the result is stunning. The walls were plastered with loam, the floors were tiled in braised terracotta tiles and traditional old-fashioned Frisian white tiles were used throughout the building. This mix of natural, traditional elements and modern design produced a stunning effect. It feels pleasant and not over-the-top, as if it has always been that way.
We were involved from the very beginning and were responsible for the entire interior, including the kitchens and bathrooms, the lighting plan, the colour scheme and the materials, the layout and the furniture. Everything was made from organic materials up to and including the bed linens.
