We created the complete interior concept for this farmhouse in IJlst. The interior reflects the eclectic taste of our clients, who have travelled the globe, featuring classics combined with pieces from young designers. The Boffi kitchen was custom-made; the Agape bathroom by Dornbracht. The lighting plan was implemented in subtle surface-mounted Delta Light LED spotlights.
The sleek, modern structures in the barn section are comfortable, transparent and light, while the old main house was given a pure look and feel through the application of Finnish Uula linseed oil paint with mineral pigments in fantastic authentic colours, among others. A fabulous contrast was created between the two worlds – the historic and the modern, each with its own character.
